A man who bought a used Jeep on Facebook Marketplace said he was shocked to find an Apple AirTag hidden inside the vehicle.
The case was shared by Abdallah in a video posted on his TikTok profile. In the clip, he recorded the moment he found the Apple GPS device hidden behind the driver’s seat.
He said he bought the white Jeep Grand Cherokee after seeing an ad posted on Facebook Marketplace, in a deal that “seemed too good to be true.”
According to Abdallah, his neighbor warned him that someone had tried to steal his car the next day while he was at work. But even after locating and removing the AirTag, his problems didn’t end there.
In the text overlaid on the clip, he reported that he began hearing a “camera sound” every time he started the car. In addition, he started noticing a mysterious tow truck showing up every day at 2 a.m., as if checking whether the car was still parked outside.
He concluded by saying that he was now keeping the car parked inside a garage, and in a follow-up video, he reported that he managed to find the source of the noise: a small device hidden in the upper window, which prevented it from closing completely.
His video has already gained more than 11 million views. In subsequent videos, he revealed that after finding other cables and devices scattered throughout the car, he decided to sell the vehicle due to the bizarre situation.
